How to place Betfair.com bets smaller than the minimum of £2
All bets are placed on Betfair.com.
If placing a back bet.
If placing a lay bet. Click the bet you want and the betslip window will open in the top right of the screen. Enter back odds of 100 (a number way higher than the odds you eventually want). Now put in your stake of £2 and place the bet.
This bet will not be matched. Click the Go to my bets button to see the unmatched bet. Now update the £2 stake to include the stake you actually want to place. For example if you want to place a £0.10p bet modify the stake to £2.10. Click update and then Go to my bets.
You will now see two bets, one for £2 and one for £0.10p. Click the small red x next to the £2 so it will be deleted when you update. Also update the odds of the £0.10p bet to the odds you want to actually place. Hit update and then Go to my bets again and you will now have your £0.10 bet placed.
If placing a lay bet.
The principles are the same as with a back bet except of a very important difference. Instead of placing at odds of 100 in the initial £2 stake you want to use a very low odd. So at the start place a stake of £2 with odds of 2. Follow the same method as with the back bet until you have your bet of less than £2 placed (or laid).
This is how you place bets smaller than the minimum £2 bet on Betfair.com.
